President Nandi-Ndaitwah Launches Namibia Public-Private Forum

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on Friday 24 October 2025 in Windhoek inaugurated the Namibia Public Private Forum (NamPPF), bringing together government and business leaders to strengthen collaboration and accelerate inclusive economic growth across the country.

In her keynote address, President Nandi-Ndaitwah described the NamPPF as “a partnership of purpose,” calling it a vital bridge between government and the private sector united by the shared vision of building a prosperous Namibia.

She emphasized that progress must be measured not by “the number of workshops and meetings we attend” but by the real, tangible impact felt by ordinary Namibians. The President urged participants to translate dialogue into meaningful action, saying, “Let us engage with one heart and one mind, for our true success will be judged not by what divides us, but by what unites us.”

Highlighting the nation’s rich resources, Nandi-Ndaitwah reiterated that “as a nation with this volume of resources, we are too few to be poor,” calling for a decisive move away from business as usual toward results-driven governance and inclusive economic transformation.

She outlined an ambitious goal to create 500,000 jobs over the next five years, positioning the Forum as a cornerstone of Namibia’s economic renewal  one that empowers youth, drives innovation, and promotes fairness and productivity.


In conclusion, the launch of the NamPPF marks a new chapter in Namibia’s development journey, signaling a united commitment between the public and private sectors to turn dialogue into action and prosperity into reality for all citizens.
