Metropolitan Namibia has stepped in to solve a long-standing challenge at Chief Hosea Kutako Primary School by donating a brand-new photocopy machine valued at N$57,000.

The donation is expected to ease the administrative and teaching workload at the school, which had been operating without printing equipment for the past three years.

Chief Hosea Kutako Primary School is located in the Aminus Constituency, the school serves 542 learners and is staffed by 20 teachers. Without a printer, teachers were previously forced to walk or travel five kilometers to neighbouring schools to print academic and administrative documents a time-consuming and inefficient process.

During the official handover, Metropolitan Namibia Sales Manager , Mr. Denias Hangula said the gesture reflects the company’s commitment to meaningful social investment, especially in education.

“At Metropolitan, we believe in making a lasting difference. This donation is not just about equipment, but about empowering communities and ensuring that no learner is left behind,” said Hangula.

“It is not the role of government alone. It requires support from corporate partners, communities, and individuals,” said the Governor.
