THE Namibia Football Association (NFA) Secretary General, Charles Sikabongo Siyauya (49) was laid to rest on Tuesday at 27 miles in Bukalo Area of Katima Rural Constituency in Zambezi region.
The multitude of the mourners from Zambezi region and church members started gathering at New Apostolic Church Congregation on Monday , where his memorial service was conducted in honouring the life and his legacy. His family members, church members, SWAPO political patriots and freinds bid their last respect in condolence messages and songs.
Late Siyauya, was born on 10 March 1975 at Schuckmansburg and died on 03 March 2025 in Windhoek after severe heart illness.
At the time of his demise, he was serving as the Secretary-General of the Namibia Football Association (NFA), after he was appointed on April 1, 2024.
He was a holder of a Master’s Degree in Security and Strategic Studies and he had his first degree, Bachelor of Education and Political Activity.
He worked as the Chairperson of Bukalo Village Council and an Administrator at the University of Namibia’s Katima Mulilo Campus.
He was an advocate of the Namibians who were killed by the trigger happy BDF along the Chobe River.
