Retired Masubia Chief Advisor Dies

FORMER Masubia Chief Advisor has died at the age of 91 at Rundu State Hospital on Sunday afternoon August 3, 2014.

The retired Natamoyo (Chief Advisor) Mr. Samson Mbanga Ntonda was born on 23 March 1923 and he was first appointed as Natamoyo by the Royal House in 1951 and he served the Late Chief of Masubia Joshua Mutwa Moraliswani up to his death in 1996.

He continued serving the Masubia Community and Chief Kisco Maiba Liswani III until he was retired in 2010.

He was arrested by the South African Police during Namibia’s Liberation Struggle and he was detained at Roben Island.

Funeral arrangements for his burials are still underway at his village at Bukalo.
