NAMIBIAN President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah met with the National Democratic Party (NDP) delegation, led by Hon. Lukato Lukato, today in Windhoek at State House to strengthen dialogue, discuss national priorities, and promote unity across Namibia’s political spectrum.
The meeting, is part of the President’s ongoing consultations with opposition parties, aimed to foster cooperation and ensure that the country’s development and citizens’ well-being remain the top priority.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasized that, regardless of political affiliation, Namibian leaders share a responsibility to work together, engage openly, and prioritize national interests.
“We may belong to different political parties, but as leaders entrusted with the mandate of the people, it is our responsibility to engage one another and ensure the interests of the Namibian people come first,” she said.
Hon. Lukato Lukato expressed gratitude for the invitation, praising the President’s inclusive leadership and consultative approach.

He highlighted the importance of political dialogue in addressing national challenges and shaping policies collaboratively.
The meeting underscores Namibia’s commitment to inclusive governance, dialogue, and collaboration across political parties, reflecting a shared goal of advancing national development and enhancing citizens’ well-being.

Last week, Dr. Panduleni Itula , President of the Official Opposition Party in Namibia Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) was the first to meet President Nandi-Ndaitwah with his delegation, which was later followed by Mr. Ambrosius Kumbwa, leader of All Peoples Party (APP) with his delegation.
