Momentum Metropolitan Namibia has recognised 115 employees for their long service to the company, celebrating a combined 665 years of commitment and contribution.
The event, held at the company’s Windhoek headquarters on 23 July 2025, honoured staff members who have served for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years, reflecting a legacy of loyalty, excellence, and purpose.
The ceremony highlighted not just the length of service, but also the dedication of individuals who have played a key role in helping the company build and protect the financial dreams of Namibians. Among those honoured was Hileni Iyambo, a Client Services Administrator from Oshakati, who marked 25 years with the company.
“Marking 25 years with Momentum Metropolitan Namibia is a proud moment for me,” Iyambo said. “Though I work behind the scenes, I know my role brings peace of mind to our clients during difficult times.”
Another recipient, Mateus Namhila, a Sales Manager in Swakopmund who joined the company in 2009, reflected on his 15-year journey. “This is truly the best company to work for. The exposure and growth I’ve experienced here have shaped me into the leader I am today.”
The celebration was attended by Collin Katjitae, Executive of Human Capital at Momentum Metropolitan Namibia, who praised the honourees for their unwavering dedication.

“Behind every year of service is a story of passion, growth and belonging,” said Katjitae. “When people feel valued, they stay, and their loyalty becomes part of the legacy we build together.”

With an average tenure of nearly seven years higher than industry norms the company attributes its strong retention rate to a culture of respect, development and shared purpose.
In total, the organization’s workforce represents 6,917 years of combined service nearly seven millennia of knowledge and care invested in serving the needs of its clients.
As it marks 56 years of service in Namibia, the company remains committed to creating a purpose-driven environment where employees thrive, and progress is shared.
