Lack of Agricultural Projects Contribute to High Unemployment in Zambezi

According to my great belief, the lack of Agricultural Projects in Zambezi Region have contributed to the high unemployment rate in the region, however, the land is quite fertile and the optimum rainfall received in the region can lead to a tremendous harvest.
I would like to request the government to invest in our beloved Zambezi. Land for agricultural production is available and fertile; water irrigation scheme is also available. Why doesn’t the government invest in Zambezi? Let us have an open eye and see how the Kavango River is feeding its people with lots of green schemes such as; the Vungu-Vungu green scheme project, the Itunda green scheme where people are working to earn a living. Why not Zambezi Region?
Katima Farm has been closed long ago, Katima Meatco has closed, and the quarantine has also closed. We only relay on Kalimbeza Rice Project and a great number of people in the region work as security guards and some are selling in Chinese shops, where they earn less to support their family.
This results in high crime rate because people have nothing to keep the busy, instead they become tombo and alcohol drinkers and drug consumer.
I request the government to invest in agriculture as it is productive and people will learn skills and acquire knowledge in agriculture.
UNAM and Vocational Training Centre can not be the only root to better life. The government must help in many octagon sides.
I keep an eye!!!
