According to a concerned resident who opted to remain anonymous, people are not receiving answers after they have thrown-in their views into the box. He expressed concerns that the police are not taking their suggestions seriously as they do not receive any feedbacks.

“We are not counted but suggestion boxes are there with no response, we wonder why? ” He questioned.

He further called the Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration and Safety and Security, Dr. Albert Kawana to look into the matter of the police suggestion boxes

Responding to the issue, Chief Inspector Charles Muyumbelo of the Katima Mulilo Police Station said, people who are throwing their views in boxes are not giving their details making the police to get it hard when following the issue.

Chief Inspector Mayumbelo further explained that “Our people don’t give details, how do we follow issues, we are ready for them, we need addresses whenever they throw views in those boxes.”
