A new private Airline called FlyWestair launched two routes to north eastern towns of Namibia, Katima Mulilo and Rundu as an introduction of flights between their hubs at Eros Airport in Windhoek.
FlyWestair is proud to announce the addition of two destinations to their flights scheduled to Rundu and Katima Mulilo in the north eastern part of Namibia, departing from Eros Airport in Windhoek.
The incorporation of these two new routes will connect Namibians and visitors between the capital and north eastern regions and beyond.
FlyWestair’s domestic flight schedule offers five weekly flights between Eros Airport in Windhoek and Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo Airport in Ondangwa.
Two weekly flights will be offered between Rundu and Windhoek as from the 24th of August 2021 and three (3) between Katima Mulilo and Windhoek starting from August 25, 2021.
These destinations are integral for many Namibian’s north eastern citizens.
In a media statement sent to Caprivi Vision, the FlyWestair pledged to support and connect Namibians to Katima Mulilo, the capital of Zambezi region as it is an important gateway route to SADC nations such as Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
The destinations will help relieve the weight of travel for those living in those towns and connects business and support FlyWestair crucial, currently downtrodden tourism industry.
“The introduction to Rundu and Katima Mulilo is set to ease travel for visitors to Namibia who would like to include Kavango and Zambezi regions in their itinerary, but do not have sufficient days in their schedule for the long drives.”
