The University of Namibia (UNAM) campus at Katima Mulilo in the Caprivi region will be offering four bachelor’s degrees in Education in both lower and upper primary, while the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences will offer the same length degrees in Wildlife Management and Ecotourism.
This revelation came about during the recent awareness campaign hosted by Unam staff at the town, where the officials aimed to sensitise, mobilise and introduce other new courses that will be offered at the center next year.
The event was held at Ngweze Open Market with the purpose of marketing courses and services that the University will offer to the public.
UNAM at Katima Mulilo Campus offers a variety of courses to Namibians and international students especially in the SADC region.
The peer educators of the center took to the streets of Katima Mulilo with information booklets and approached different people with the aims of encouraging and mobilising the general public to register with UNAM Katima Campus.
“We are here to disseminate information to the public, UNAM has brought courses close to people now, you don’t need to travel to Windhoek as the Katima Mulilo campus also provides for the same variety of courses” said peer educators.
