A Katima Mulilo aspiring musical protégé Mr. Booysen Kabunga who is popularly known in the music scene as Short Khilla, is set on releasing a follow up album to his debute record “General Short Khilla”.
The album which is yet to be named is expected to be released in late October this year.
Caprivi Vision caught up with the young Afro Hip –hop and kwaito artist to find out about his anticipated second album.“I`ve been busy with performances that I have been booked for and I have been busy working on my second album”, explains Short Khilla.
A 21 –year old artist explains that he has been busy in the studio working on his second album, “I have so far worked on three songs(singles) for the album which are due out in August”.
Short Khilla revealed that his three singles are Osayenda, Ru-town which features a Rundu born musician Kazla Jaivas and lastly is Ba Sha-Kachana.
He says his next move is to shoot a music video for the song “Ru-town”.
Last year on his birthday March 19, Short Khilla launched his first album titled “General Councillor Mukupi”which was dedicated to the late Mr.Felix Mukupi former Councillor of Sibbinda Constituency.
His CD Album comprised of 12 tracks with different genres such as Kwaito, Sungura, Kwasa disco, Afro-pop, House and dance hall.
Short Khilla owns his own record label called Party Groovers Entertainment.
