DJ Vuyo to launch his 6th album

A Well known musical artist in Namibia, Mr.Mushe Musomi who is popularly known by his stage name (DJ Vuyo), is set to release his sixth festive seasonal album next month in Katima Mulilo.

 DJ Vuyo who hails from Makanga and Lizauli in Zambezi region, He is a music lover who does reggae and kwaito, His new album is on the way and will flight in at the official launch in Katima on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Katima Sports Complex.

The new upcoming album will carry eight tracks and its title is not yet revealed.

In a telephonic interview with Caprivi Vision, He said that he released his fifth album last year that was titled Jealous and it carried a maximum of twenty (20) songs and that was in collaboration with other artists from Zambia and Namibia.

When asked on how his music industry is performing currently, Musomi said “music industry is better though it is picking up slowly but artists are surviving they need only more support to keep it growing”

On the issue of pirating music in Namibia, he divulged that, pirating is now worth because when artists do their compact disc (CD) and rip it up it’s quickly transferred to everyone on WhatsApp and other platforms on the social media.

DJ Vuyo further explained that “So the only way to sell our music now is online, that one is much better because when downloading you are buying it straight from the web itself and to my fans I have more music videos on the way and for the coming music festival on the launched of my new album in Katima next month I will be joined by other artists, so be there to enjoy music.”
