CAPRIVI Senior Secondary School (CSS), has been known as the top performing school in Zambezi, even though the school came second in the grade 10 results for 2017, it still managed to produce three learners who got 42 points.
Munichinga Gizzel, Sinvula Mbeha and Nkondo Michelle are the top performing learners at Caprivi Senior Secondary School. These young determined learners who are goal oriented told Caprivi Vision about their achievement and advice to other learners out there.
Munichinga Gizzel the top performer among the three”I had hope that I would make it but I never expected to get 42, I am very proud of myself it shows that all my efforts, sleepless nights and sweat was not in vain I achieved one of my goals in life. All I can say to the grade 10 is that they should study hard if they want to make something out of their lives’’.
Mbeha Sinvula the man among the two ladies‘’ It was a great feeling, I did not believe it at the same time, I thought it might have been a mistake. I used to study using the syllabi. I truly did not encounter any difficulties but if you are committed you will overcome the problem. You have to do your best, establishing a good habit is also a key to getting 42 points’’.
Nkondo Mitchell now proudly a grade 11 learner ‘’ I was astonished, exited, proud and very happy, to anyone out there who wants get 42 points they should believe in themselves, evaluate yourself establish a solid goal aim and shot also don’t forget to listen to your teachers, always be ahead of your lessons, put aside all the distractions but most importantly do not beat yourself up too much in the process’’.
However, Caprivi Senior Secondary School HOD Mr. Gk Nyama enlightened Caprivi Vision about the awards his learners received at the regional award ceremony.
Mr Nyama the HOD stated that‘’Munichinga Gizzel was the top overall performer who got a trophy , medal and 2500 Namibian dollars, Mbeha Sinvula got a medal and 1500 Namibian dollar the same as Nkondo Michelle’’.
These learners are truly a great motivation if you listen to them you will surely follow in their footsteps if they can do it you can also do it.
