With an estimated 38,000 Namibians living with albinism and many girls still facing barriers to menstrual hygiene, the initiative seeks to break long-standing taboos and empower communities through awareness and access.
In addition, government announced plans to increase sunscreen provision for individuals with albinism and photosensitivity from 150ml to 600ml per person, aligning with global health guidelines and enhancing skin protection.
