NAMIBIAN President Dr. Hifikepunye Pohamba has appointed Advocate H. Geier as the new acting Judge of the High Court of Namibia.
The Judicial Service Commission has announced the appointment upon recommendation by the President of the Republic of Namibia.
Adv. Geier was appointed as a judge from 30 January 2012 until 29 February 2012.
However, President Pohamba has also appointed Ms. Elise Mutaleni Angula, a legal practitioner, as a member of the Judicial Service Commission with effect from 1 February 2012 for a period of 3 years.
