Namibia has qualified to play in the knockout stage in the group of 16 teams after it made 0-0 draw results with Mali on Wednesday night.
This is the first-ever match in the history of football for Namibia to qualify playing in the round of sixteen.
The Namibia’s national team “brave warriors” is set to clash over with Angola on Saturday January 27, 2024.
It is one of the fourth best third-placed teams to play to secure a place in the quarter finals.
Mali is topping the list in group E with five points, followed by South Africa and Namibia with 4 points, while Tunisia was eliminated after playing with South Africa with a draw of 0-0.
Namibia has beaten Tunisia 1-0 during their opening game in Ivory Coast , and the Bafana Bafana’s South African national team thrashed the Brave Warriors with 4-0 which left them seeking a point from their final group match to have a place in the knockout phase.
