Likando sworn in as Member of National Assembly

KABBE South Constituency Councillor and National Council Member of Parliament , Hon. John Likando was sworn in as a new Member of the National Assembly by Chief Justice Peter Shivute on Tuesday .

Likando was placed on number 52 on the gazzetted SWAPO party list for the 2024 National Assembly elections, His appointment follows the recent resignation of Hon. Lucia Witbooi from Parliament, who was appointed as Vice President of the Republic of Namibia.
